I was born and grew up in a small village in West Yorkshire, which was also the childhood home of one of my favourite poets, David Whyte. I spent my 20s and early 30s living and working in London as a business lawyer, but these days am answering my Soul's call to a life of service as an integrative coach and breathwork facilitator, with a keen interest in human and ecological flourishing. I'm also a qualified freediving instructor!
I first heard about BrightSky when I found myself sitting in a ceremonial circle next to Bart, one of our Co-Directors. His "Buddha nature" and indigineous flute playing sparked my curiosity, and when he mentioned his beautiful vision for the BrightSky community, I felt a deep resonance in my heart. I signed up as a Founding Member soon after and more recently became a Partner.
I love the fact that everyone in the BrightSky team shows up fully and open-heartedly, is not afraid to speak their truth with fierce compassion and holds a shared dream of creating the more beautiful world that our hearts know is possible.
My role within BrightSky is as a community builder, opening up conversations and making connections to bring in new members and co-creators. I am passionate about helping people to integrate their internal and external divisions, returning to a state of harmony and wholeness from which they can uncover their deepest longings. I also love building bridges between different communities, just as the breath acts as a bridge between our body, mind, heart, soul and relationships. Music makes my heart sing, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to discover more of the talented artists within the BrightSky family.
